I'm an end-to-end videographer who loves it all: from working out the logistics and thinking through strategic positioning, to delivering content that captures the heart of a story. I work across promotional video, short-form documentary story-telling, and social content. Every project brings something new, and I bring curiosity, kindness, and creativity in return.
Kate is the most effective person I have worked with in the media and storytelling space. She takes the time to learn both the what and the why of her subject's work and then does whatever she needs to, including standing waist deep in a fjord off the coast of Iceland, to collect the material she needs. For this project, I traveled to Iceland with a team of researchers as they monitored glacial melt using drones. Working across a range of complex environments, I captured video in the field and integrated it with mixed media collected by the research team. This project required a deep understanding of the research itself to accurately translate the work into a compelling visual story.

Process
I start by understanding the purpose of the piece, the audience it’s meant for, and where it will live once it’s released. With that foundation in place, I move into an ideation and scripting phase—this is where it all starts to come to life (hooray!).

Next, I create a detailed storyboard—written or illustrated—to map out each shot. It’s where everyone can see how the story will unfold before filming begins.

After production, I edit in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, shaping the story so that the message and brand work together. I use color grading, sound design, and motion graphics to enhance emotion, clarity, and engagement. From there, I optimize each piece for its intended platform, tailoring everything from aspect ratio and visual treatment to accessibility, SEO, and discoverability to reach the right audience.

Short-form videos are fun, engaging, and built specifically for the platforms they live on. I focus on making videos that feel natural and optimized for how people actually watch and share.
